ABOUT FURNITURE WHOLESALE GROUP
In 1995 I, Greg Cunningham, was introduced to the Contract Furniture Business by my Father-in-law, Larry Faulkner. He had been involved with numerous fortune 500 companies through his 40+ years of work experience. Larry suggested that I call a new contract furniture dealer and inquire about a sales postion. My previous background was College, sales and managment experience and I was looking for a career that would keep me from traveling as much as my previous jobs.
I landed a position with a NEW Haworth Office furniture dealer in 1995 and was introduced into the industry of contract office furniture. I was amazed at how much product companies needed and purchased and how much money they would spend on their assets such as office furniture. I was selling new furniture, remanufactured furniture and then as-is furniture. As the economy started to change I noticed a need for good quality furniture at a lower cost to the end user. I decided to redirect my focus at that point from new furniture to as-is or "pre-owned furniture" that would fit into the needs of end-users seeking to satisfy their companies requriements while at the same time saving money over purchasing new furniture.
Furniture Wholesale group was born in June, 2002. FWG specializes in the liquidation and acquisition of only the finest in pre-owned office furnishings. FWG was established in response to the growing demand for top quality office products that are much more cost effective for operating a business, today.

I, Nita Cunningham, was introduced to the contract furniture business by my husband in late 1995 and have enjoyed the ability to satisfy our clients while saving them money. I also had worked for a new dealer and was able to take that experience into the as-is product arena at FWG. We actually enjoy the husband and wife team and our clients value the family business atmosphere we bring to the table. We feel that an informed client is our best cleint and we try to make sure that we give them all of the information necessary in order to make an educated decision upon acquiring as-is contract furniture.
